The RRC will serve as a clearinghouse for anti-racism information, resources and training.
The Center will focus on four key components.
D.A.R.T.
- Dialogue that encourages and facilitates cross-cultural communication
among and
between organizations and institutions that impact the daily lives of citizens
in the region;
- Advocacy that empowers communities of color to assume roles as valued
contributors
and participants in a democratic society;
- Research that provides communities with information and resources to
foster needed
social change; and
- Training that provides tools for communities to learn and employ new
strategies for
combating racism.
